THE WEEKND ADDS THREE NEW SONGS TO ‘AFTER HOURS’ ALBUM: The Weeknd is adding three new songs to his new album, After Hours. The 30-year-old singer released “Nothing Compares,” “Missed You” and “Final Lullaby,” three new bonus tracks that appear on the After Hours deluxe edition, on Sunday. The Weeknd shared promo photos for the songs on Twitter. The pictures for “Nothing Compares” and “Missed You” show The Weeknd in a room with stained glass windows, while the photo for “Final Lullaby” captures the singer in shadow. After Hours includes the singles “Heartless,” “Blinding Lights” and “In Your Eyes.” The Weekend shared a short film for the album this month that shows him breaking down.
USHER SET TO EXECUTIVE PRODUCE QUIBI DANCE COMPETITION SERIES: Usher is bringing his dance moves to the Quibi streaming service with a dance competition series titled The Sauce. The singer will serve as an executive producer and judge on the show. Dancing duo Ayo & Teo will serve as the show’s hosts, going city to city to find the dancer with the most sauce. Each week, two teams go head-to-head for a chance to win $25,000. The Sauce joins the list of series that will be released on Quibi April 6th. This includes revivals of MTV shows like Punk’d, hosted by Chance the Rapper, and Singled Out, hosted by Keke Palmer.
SAM SMITH TO RENAME ‘TO DIE FOR’ ALBUM, DELAYS RELEASE: Sam Smith will rename their forthcoming album, originally titled To Die For, and delay the album’s release due to the coronavirus outbreak. Smith sent “love and strength” to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 virus. They explained how the album’s original title and release date no longer feel right in the current environment. Smith’s third album was originally slated for release May 1st, and features the singles “To Die For,” “Dancing with a Stranger,” “How Do You Sleep,” “I Feel Love” and “I’m Ready.”
NEW ‘BACHELOR’ SPINOFF ‘LISTEN TO YOUR HEART’ TO FEATURE JASON MRAZ, ANDY GRAMMER, PAT MONAHAN & MORE: Listen to Your Heart, the latest spinoff of ABC’s The Bachelor franchise, debuts April 13th. The show features 12 men and eight women looking for love and connecting through music by performing individually and together. Some of the performances will be judged by celebrities and musicians, including Jason Mraz, Andy Grammer, Toni Braxton, Train singer Pat Monahan, Kesha, Jewel, Tom Hanks’ wife, Rita Wilson, Ashlee Simpson-Ross and her husband Evan Ross. During the premiere, one couple will enjoy a private concert by the Plain White T’s.
