CHRISTINA AGUILERA PERFORMS ‘LOYAL BRAVE TRUE’ FROM ‘MULAN’ ON ‘KIMMEL’: Christina Aguilera hit the main stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night as the musical guest to perform “Loyal Brave True,” the Mulan theme off of the upcoming soundtrack. “The film Mulan and the song ‘Reflection’ coincided with getting me my first record deal,” Christina said in a statement. “It’s amazing to come back to such an incredible movie that’s full of power and meaning, and that meaning holds the test of time: staying true to yourself, being who you are, and teaching how to be fearless. My new song, ‘Loyal Brave True,’ represents the fine balance between vulnerability and strength.”

ED SHEERAN’S MOTHER GIVES MUSIC LESSONS TO SCHOOL KIDS: Ed Sheeran’s mother Imogen has set up a project, called Suffolk Kodaly Community Interest Company, to provide “progressive music education to children in schools across the east of Suffolk.” Imogen explained that her company’s ambition is to ensure that “every pupil sings regularly,” saying it is “hugely beneficial for children’s social and mental development, helping to improve children’s behavior, attainment, confidence, concentration and ability to cope with peer pressure.”
