MGM TO TAKE $30M HIT ON BOND: The decision to move Daniel Craig‘s last Bond outing No Time To Die from an April 10th drop to one in November will cost the studio $30 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter. But the alternative would be much costlier, with theaters getting shuttered in China, Italy, France and elsewhere over coronavirus fears. “They obviously are doing the right thing by putting the public safety, world safety, first,” No Time to Die producer Barbara Broccoli told THR. Added producer Michael Wilson, “How will coronavirus affect the whole world markets and affect trade in general? We’re just one of the people that have to work in that environment.”

ULI EDEL SNAGGED FOR HEISENBERG: Uli Edel (Last Exit to Brooklyn) has been tapped to direct Heisenberg, an adaptation of Richard von Schirach‘s historical book “The Night of the Physicists: Operation Epsilon: Heisenberg, Hahn, Weizscker and the German Bomb,” which tells the story of a team of German physicists who tried to create an atomic bond for Germany during WWII. German-based KJ Entertainment and Fireworks Entertainment are teaming up with New York-based Film Manufacturers on the project, which will begin shooting next year.

KIDS IN THE HALL REBOOT ON: Amazon is rebooting Kids in the Hall for Amazon. The eight-episode season will include five members of the comedy troupe: Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson. “We’ve been investing in Canada for several years and are excited to add to that momentum by making The Kids in the Hall the first Canadian Amazon original series,” said James Farrell, vp international originals for Amazon Studios. “The Kids in the Hall is an iconic show with a deep-rooted fan base. Several of our global hits, including The Boys, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and The Expanse, have been filmed in Canada, and we are looking forward to continuing our work with talented producers and crew teams across the country to bring this series to our Prime members around the world.”

DISCOVERY SETS ATTILA THE HUN DOC: Attila the Hun is storming the Science Channel soon. The Discovery-owned cable network ordered a two-part special from French producer Pernel Media. The documentary will come in two parts and will tell the story of Attila, a warrior king who faced off against the Roman Empire in the late 5th century. The documentary will drop March 22nd.
