KESHA RELEASES LIVE PERFORMANCES OF ‘RAISING HELL’ AND ‘RESENTMENT’: Kesha has released two live performance videos of “Raising Hell” and “Resentment” on Vevo. In a minimalist setting, Kesha sings “Raising Hell” accompanied by a guitarist, keyboardist and two backup singers. For the vulnerable track “Resentment,” Kesha spotlights her vocals with just an acoustic guitar and the backup singers as accompaniment. The original versions of the two tracks appear on Kesha’s new album, The High Road, out Friday.
USHER TO HOST AND PERFORM AT IHEARTRADIO MUSIC AWARDS: Usher will host and perform at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 29th. Usher joins other performers such as Halsey, Lizzo and Justin Bieber. The event will air live on Fox from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Billie Eilish leads all artists with seven nominations including Song of the Year for “Bad Guy” and Female Artist of the Year. Lil Nas X and Lizzo each received six nominations.
BILLIE EILISH, HALSEY, KHALID TO HEADLINE FIREFLY MUSIC FESTIVAL: The 2020 Firefly Music Festival will feature headlining performances from Billie Eilish, Halsey and Khalid. This year’s event runs June 18-21 in at The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware. Passes go on sale February 3rd, with pre-sale tickets available Friday. Rage Against the Machine, Blink-182, Maggie Rogers, Cage the Elephant, Illenium, Diplo, Run the Jewels, Chvrches, David Lee Roth, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Kali Uchis and other acts will also perform.
