RCMP seek missing woman who may be hitchhiking to Kamloops
INVERMERE, B.C. — Columbia Valley RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman.
Belinda Dawn Eugene was last seen the morning of Jan. 26 in the Radium Hot Springs area.
In a news release, police say there is nothing to indicate foul play at this time, and believe she may have been hitchhiking to the Kamloops area.
“Although it is believed that Belinda is reportedly dressed appropriately for the current weather conditions, police are very concerned for her health and well-being, should she experience a prolonged exposure,” says Southeast District spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “We are interested in locating Belinda to check her well-being and ask motorists travelling throughout the southern interior to watch for her.”
