Winter storm warning in place for Coquihalla; snow expected in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — After an arguably mild start to winter in Kamloops, snow is expected to make its way across the region today — including over the Coquihalla Highway.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Hope to Merritt stretch with heavy snowfall beginning this morning.
Accumulations of 10 to 15 centimetres are expected today and another 10 to 20 centimetres is expected tonight.
There is also a risk of freezing rain developing tonight and Tuesday morning.
