Multiple incidents lead to northbound closure, congestion on Coquihalla Highway

MERRITT, B.C. — There are multiple vehicle incidents along the Coquihalla Highway this morning, leading to closures and delays.

Emergency crews are attending several spots on Highway 5. Between Hope and Merritt, the northbound lanes are closed due to vehicle incidents at Larson Hill.

DriveBC is advising drivers to consider using Highway 3 as an alternate route.

Drivers are also being warned to expect congestion southbound at Larson Hill due to the northbound closure.
