Blazers send three back to midget, trim roster to 28

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have cut down their preseason roster by returning a trio of 15-year-olds to their midget clubs.

2019 first round bantam pick Mats Lindgren returns to the Burnaby Winter Club. Lindgren, a defenceman, didn’t register any points in two exhibition games.

Goaltender Dylan Ernst goes back to the Moose Jaw Generals. He stopped all 27 shots he faced while seeing action in two preseason games.

Tye Spencer scored goals in both weekend preseason games, and hopes to continue his hot hand with the Saskatoon Contacts.

The Blazers’ roster now sits at 28 – 18 forwards, nine defencemen and two goaltenders.
