KAMLOOPS — Hockey fans don’t have to wait until winter to get in some practice, as the fourth annual FrankenJax Road Hockey Tournament kicked off today in Kamloops.

Held in the lacrosse box outside of Marion Schilling Elementary in Valleyview throughout the weekend (Aug. 24-25), the tournament features 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 ball hockey match ups.

Registration costs $25, and all funds raised through the event go towards KidSport Kamloops.

The event is open to a variety of ages, and also features door prizes, basket draws, a silent auction, lunch, and live music from the Angie Heinze Band.
