Habitat Kamloops to raffle off Rust Valley Restorers Camaro
KAMLOOPS — Habitat for Humanity Kamloops is teaming up with a hit TV show for its newest fundraiser.
The charity is raffling off a restored 1968 Chevy Camaro SS convertible, valued at $68,000. The classic muscle car was refurbished by Tappen resident Mike Hall of History Channel’s Rust Bros.
The raffle coincides with an ambitious agenda for Habitat Kamloops. In a news release, Habitat executive director Bill Miller says the organization plans to begin building three homes at Skeetchestn next month. Miller notes the organization is anticipating starting “70-plus homes in various locations for 2020.”
