JUSSIE SMOLLETT TURNED AWAY EXTRA SECURITY? Days before the alleged racist and homophobic attack he endured, Empire star Jussie Smollettturned down an offer of extra security, TMZ reports. Fox Studios offered to up more security after the studio received a threatening letter addressed to him. Smollett was brutally attacked by two men in Chicago on Monday, but he reportedly plans to return to the Empire set after a brief stint in the hospital. (TMZ)
CHUCKY HEADS TO TV: Zero creator Nick Antosca is teaming up with Child’s Play mastermind Don Mancini for a new Chucky show. They shared the good news on Twitter. The series will air on Syfy. Mancini said, “The show will be a fresh take on the franchise, allowing us to explore Chucky’s character with a depth that is uniquely afforded by the television series format, while staying true to the original vision that has terrorized audiences for over three decades now.” (Deadline)
WHAT KYLIE JENNER ORDERS FOR TAKEOUT: Kylie Jenner loves takeout, so much so the reality star dishes out about $10K a year on her Postmateshabit. Most of her orders are placed around 10 am; her favorite places are Ralph‘s and Bristol Farms, and frequent orders include cream cheese bagels and matcha lattes. KRISTIN CAVALLARI INTRODUCES NEW CHICK: Kristin Cavallari, 32, shared videos of her kids waiting for new eggs to hatch and join the adorably baby chick she and her three kids-Camden Jack, 6, Jaxon Wyatt, 4, and Saylor James, 3-have at home. “We’ve been hatching our own eggs, and we have our first little baby chick,” the mom-of-three said in the first video. “He just got out of his egg, his shell! Oh my gosh, the rest of them are gonna probably hatch in the next couple of days.” In addition to chickens, her family owns a dog, two goats and a llama. (People)
