No upset on day one of 2018 Fulton Cup

KAMLOOPS — At the annual Fulton Cup basketball tournament, the defending B.C. Champion South Kamloops Titans girls made short work of two opponents at the Tournament Capital Centre Wednesday night. SouthKam started with a 75-34  victory over NorKam, then beat Westsyde 84-30 Wednesday night. SouthKam is ranked number one in the province going into this season.  In the other Senior Girls game, Valleyview beat Sahali 80-44. 

SouthKam Senior boys are not ranked this year after a championship last season, but made short work of St. Ann’s with a 102-31 win last night. Westsyde, ranked number 2 in boys AA , beat Merritt 87-30. Barriere dropped a 72-55 decision to Valleyview and Sahali beat NorKam 65-60 in the closest game of the day.
