Thompson Blazers lose twice, drop back in race for first

KAMLOOPS — It was a tough weekend for the Thompson Blazers as they tried to close in on first place in the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League.
The Blazers lost 5-1 and 6-1 to the league leading Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
At 11-and-7 they drop to fifth place, seven points behind Fraser Valley.
League scoring leader Logan Stankoven was held to one assist in the two games.
With 26 goals and 46 points Stankoven leads the league by 17 points.
