Hicketts sent down by the Red Wings

KAMLOOPS — Joe Hicketts won’t be in the Detroit Red Wings opening night roster.

The 22-year old defenceman from Kamloops was one of three players sent down by Detroit today to their American League farm team.

Hicketts had two assists in seven pre-season games with the Red Wings.
