Stankoven shines in Sussex Thompson Blazers major midget loss to Cariboo

KAMLOOPS — Blazers prospect Logan Stankoven scored four times, but the Sussex Thompson Blazers still lost.

The Cariboo Cougars rallied from a 7-5 deficit midway through the third period to defeat the Thompson Blazers 8-7 on a power play goal in overtime.

It was the third pre-season game for the Major Midget Blazers, and puts them at 0-and-3 in exhibition games.

The Major and Minor Midget Blazers will both be in Kelowna this weekend for a major/minor showcase tournament.
