Sam Smith and Calvin Harris celebrate New York City’s ball culture and its best voguers in the new video for their song “Promises.”

Taking place in a downtown warehouse-turned-glittery dance club, Sam and Calvin are having a blast hanging with the dancers as they show off their best moves. Model Winnie Harlow also makes a glamorous appearance.

On Twitter, Sam said he “never had so much fun shooting a video.” The disco-influenced jam – written by Sam, Calvin and Jessie Reyez – acts as sort of a mini-doc on queer nightlife and explains its importance. “You find that inner person and you just kinda let it out,” voguer Prince Zay says in one of the clips. Several of the performers have worked alongside the likes of Prince, Madonna and Rihanna.
