UPDATE: Trans-Canada Highway crash claims life of Calgary woman

SICAMOUS — Update: Golden RCMP Traffic Services has confirmed today’s crash, which occurred at around 12:30 p.m., resulted in one fatality.

The two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a female from Calgary.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Earlier: Drive BC estimates the Trans-Canada Highway will reopen at 8:00 p.m. tonight following a vehicle incident earlier this afternoon 10 kilometres east of Sicamous.
