Police investigate fatal crash in Langley

LANGLEY — A stretch of Highway 1 eastbound in Langley was closed Saturday morning after a multi-vehicle crash that killed at least one person.

RCMP said the crash happened just after 6 a.m. right before the 200th Street off-ramp. Witnesses said the crash involved a SUV and semi-truck.

Debris was seen littered across the road at the scene. The SUV appeared to be completely destroyed.

Police wouldn’t say how many people were killed or which vehicle the deceased were in, but did confirm they were investigating a fatal crash.
