Billy Barker Days rises out of the ashes

QUESNEL, B.C. — As last year’s wildfires swept through the region charring land and forcing evacuation, normal daily life for many was put on hold.

Various activities and events throughout the region were also cancelled.

Among these were Billy Barker Days, and as many impacted by the wildfires have come back strong, so has this annual event.
