Olynyk leads Canada to next round of World Cup qualifying

KAMLOOPS — Kelly Olynyk led the way for Canada in qualifying for the next round for the FIBA 2019 World Cup of Basketball.

Canada defeated the U.S. Virigin Islands 99-69 Monday to finish atop Group D.

Canada advances to the next round of qualifying in September where it will face three new teams on a home-and-away-basis.
