Fallon Fires Back At Trump

Jun 26, 2018 | 6:15 AM

Just a few hours after President Donald Trump criticized talk show host Jimmy Fallon in a tweet, telling him to “be a man,” Fallon responded with a tweet of his own Sunday (June 24th). He claimed he’s making a donation to RAICES, a campaign to stop border separation, in Trump’s name.

The fallout between the two comes two years after Fallon had Trump on The Tonight Show during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Fallon famously tussled the President’s hair to prove it was real, which he said helped “normalize” the millionaire, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Fallon went on to say he was sorry and that he’d do things differently if he could go back.

Trump’s tweet Sunday evening called Fallon out for backing down to critics, saying Fallon is “whimpering to allthat he did the famous ‘hair show’ with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have ‘humanized’ me-he is taking heat. He called & said ‘monster ratings.’ Be a man Jimmy!”
