Sarah Hyland Hospitalized

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland is feeling better after a serious health scare and has been released from the hospital, according to reports.

Hyland, who has battled a chronic kidney condition for her whole life, posted a selfie on Friday showing a swollen, exhausted looking face.

She wrote: “Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle and feelin cute. This time for #nationalselfieday I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it is. So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first.”

In a separate post, Hyland shared that she had been taken to the hospital Monday, saying she couldn’t wait to her “precious angel princess” dog who she also credited with knowing she was ill.
