Heather Locklear Hospitalized

Heather Locklear has been hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after threatening to kill herself, TMZ reports.

Police sources tell the gossip site that a family member called 911 Sunday to report their concerns, saying she was acting erratically and threatening to harm herself with a gun. Ventura County Fire and the Sheriff’s Department reported to her home and took her to a hospital to be evaluated.

In February, Locklear was arrested for felony domestic violence against her boyfriend. She threatened to shoot police officers if they returned to her home, TMZ reported at the time. Because of that, multiple units were sent on Sunday to handle any possible threat.

Locklear has a long history of struggles with addiction and mental illness. In January of 2017, she entered rehab for the fifth time. She told Page Six at the time: “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life.”
