REMAINING EPISODES OF PARTS UNKOWN WILL AIR ON CNN: Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown will finish out its current season following the death of its host at age 61. CNN is currently airing the award-winning series in its 11^th cycle, and the remaining two episodes will air as scheduled this Sunday and next Sunday at 9 p.m. Bourdain committed suicide on June 8^th. Netflix previously announced that it will continue to stream Parts Unknown past its June 16^thdeadline in response to fan outcry. (The Hollywood Reporter)

FRANCES MCDORMAND HAILS ERA OF CHANGE: Frances McDormand spoke out on Wednesday night at the Women in Film’s Crystal + Lucy Awards about her game-changing Oscars speech. ICYMI, while accepting the award for Best Actress she called for inclusion riders, which demand gender and racial parity on film sets. “I’m here to take responsibility for my actions and restate a call to action,” said McDormand, who presented a special segment Wednesday night dedicated to “45 Years of Advocacy,” honoring the author of the inclusion rider, Dr. Stacy L. Smith, and the leaders of the movement. “I have this feeling in my gut that times are changing.” She continued: “If I may use a sporting metaphor: If you want to go fast, go it alone, if you want to go far, do it together. … Can we successfully legislate morality? Perhaps not. But we can ask our better selves to go forward together, to take us farther than we have gone before.”

INCREDIBLES 2 TOPS FANDANGO RECORDS FOR PRE-SALES: Disney-Pixar‘s Incredibles 2 has broken Fandango‘s record for pre-sales of an animated film. The previous record was held by 2016’s Finding Dory. Tracking has the Brad Bird film opening between $125 million and $140 million this weekend. The first Incredibles made $486 million in North America and $1 billion worldwide.

RICHARD FLOOD UPPED TO SERIES REGULAR ON SHAMELESS: Richard Flood had a recurring role in Season 8’s Shameless, and he will return as a regular for the next season on Showtime. Flood plays Ford, an Irish craftsman and sperm-donor, who is also Fiona’s love interest. Shameless Season 9 premieres September 9 on Showtime.
