Broncos feel better about 2018 after few tough seasons
KAMLOOPS — It’s been a tough last couple years for the Kamloops Broncos, only winning two games in each of the past two seasons. But there is a glimmer of hope following spring camp.
“I think we’ve got some really good players out here,” says fifth-year offensive lineman Derek Walde. “It’s kind of hard to tell at spring camp exactly what we’ve got, but we’ve brought in some nice recruits, an offensive lineman. We’ve got a couple young guys there we’re really excited about. We’ve got QB Colby Henkel coming back and we’ve got some good running backs. Really all across the board, we’ve got a lot of good guys coming back.”
The Broncos held their annual spring camp last weekend, assessing young talent the team hopes can help them win a few more games this summer.
