Backstreet Boys New Single

May 15, 2018 | 6:15 AM

The Backstreet Boys have a new single called “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” Though it shares a title with an Elton John hit from the ’70s, the song is not a cover. It was written by Stephen Wrabel, a singer-songwriter who’s written songs for Kesha, Phillip Phillips, Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert, Pentatonix and more.

On Twitter, the group wrote, “Excuse the dad joke but… we’re back NEW BACKSTREET BOYS SINGLE ‘DON’T GO BREAKING MY HEART’ OUT MAY 17TH.”

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” will premiere on Thursday as a follow-up to their 2013 album In a World Like This.

The group recorded the song after the first leg of their successful Las Vegas residency, which picks back up July 25th.

The Boys will perform on ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series July 13th.
