TIMOTHY OLYPHANT IN TALKS TO JOIN BRAD PITT, LEONARDO DICAPRIO IN ONCE UPON A TIME: Timothy Olyphant is in talks to star alongside Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Burt Reynolds is also rumored to be in talks to star in the film, which is set in 1969’s L.A. and revolves around the Manson murders of Sharon Tate. CW BETS ON NOSTALGIA WITH CHARMED REBOOT, SUPERHERO RENEWALS: The CW renewed a slate of superhero shows, including Arrow, Black Lightning, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, while welcoming a Charmed reboot and trading one Vampire Diaries spinoff for another (The Originals is nixed in favor of Legacies).

TIM ALLEN’S LAST MAN STANDING REVIVED: It’s official! Fox is greenlighting Tim Allen‘s Last Man Standing for a seventh season a year after it was canceled at ABC (to much surprise and dismay). Allen, Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders and Jordan Masterson are all set to return. “Excited? Team LMS was in the sixth inning, ahead by four runs, stands were packed and then for no reason, they call off the game. It leaves you sitting in the dugout, holding a bat and puzzled. Now we get the news from Fox that it’s time to get back out on that diamond – hell yes, I’m excited!” Allen said in a statement announcing the news Friday. “When I heard the offer to create more episodes of Last Man Standing, I did a fist pump so hard I threw my back out. It’s the fans! I could not be more grateful for the fans who wrote petitions and kept up the passion and incredible support for the show.” Return date and episode count TBD.

RUPAUL COMEDY SERIES SET AT NETFLIX: RuPaul and Michael Patrick King (the Sex and the City showrunner) are teaming up for AJ and the Queen on Netflix. RuPaul will star in the 10-episode series, which he and King are writing and exec producing. The show will follow RuPaul as Ruby Red, a drag queen who’s seen better days traveling across America in a bad R/V with AJ, an 11-year-old stowaway.
