Rising waters prompts evacuation of RV parks on Upper Nicola Reserve lands

MERRITT — Flood concerns are creating havoc in the lives of residents in the Upper Nicola area.
Today, an evacuation order was issued to the following four RV Parks on Upper Nicola Reserve lands:
- Nicola Bay RV Park, IR #1
- N’kwala Beach RV Park, IR #1
- Lakeview Gas RV Park, IR #!
- Jack RV Park, IR #2
The evacuations come in light of rising water levels in Nicola Lake.
