MILEY CYRUS RETRACTS DECADE-OLD APOLOGY: Miley Cyrus went on a throwback photo-sharing spree Sunday, and happened on a decade-old scandal for which she apologized back in the day. But Sunday, she posted a cover of a 2008 New York Post which ran the headline “MILEY’S SHAME,” with the subhead, “TV’s ‘Hannah’ apologizes for near-nude pic.” She captioned the shot: “IM NOT SORRY. F— YOU.” The uproar was over a photo spread she did for Vanity Fair in which famed photog Annie Leibovitz took a snap of the 15-year-old wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed. DAYTIME EMMY AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED: The 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced Sunday night. Steve Harvey won big, earning a statuette for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative Host, his second time in a row. Other winners include Let’s Make a Deal‘s Wayne Brady for Outstanding Game Show Host, The Price Is Right for Outstanding Game Show and the crew on The Real for Outstanding Entertainment/Talk Show Hosts. J. COLE’S KOD HAD BIGGEST OPENING WEEK OF THE YEAR: J. Cole‘s fifth studio album KOD dropped on 4/20. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, then went on to have the most successful week of any album this year in streams and album units, bypassing Justin Timberlake‘s Man of the Woods. KOD had the third-largest streaming week ever overall, following Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. and Drake‘s More Life, both 2017 releases. (Billboard)
DOES CHARLIE SHEEN OWE MILLIONS? Charlie Sheen owes the IRS nearly $5 million in back taxes, according to The Blast. The Two and a Half Men alum racked up the bill from 2015’s unpaid taxes. Before leaving the show in its eighth season, he was reportedly pulling in $1.8 million an episode. Earlier this year, Sheen put his mansion on the market for $9.99 million. (The Blast)
