Sarah Jessica Parker’s Jewelry Flop
Apr 26, 2018 | 6:15 AM
Sarah Jessica Parker has been hit with lawsuit over her $7.5 million deal to launch a new line of jewelry, TMZ reports.
Designer Kat Florence says they partnered up in October of 2015 to debut a new line of jewelry and design a line of luxe products named after them. They also reportedly planned to open three stores in Europe.
- According to the lawsuit, Parker committed to a five-year deal, but hasn’t come through on her end of the bargain. Florence tells TMZ that Parker bailed on promotion because she was filming HBO‘s Divorce and flaked on jewelry events but still found time to promote other projects.
- As a result, a special line of SJP jewelry was never launched and the London store had to shut its doors, Florence claims. She is being sued for breach of contract. Florence is asking for unspecified damages.
