GREY’S ANATOMY RENEWED FOR 15th SEASON: Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for its 15th season, making it the longest-running drama on ABC, and the seventh-longest-running drama in the history of television. “Grey’s Anatomy has a special place in my heart and millions of viewers feel the same way,” Channing Dungey, ABC Entertainment president, said in a statement announcing the historic renewal. “Thanks to fiercely loyal fans who have been on this journey since the beginning, and new generations of viewers who continue to discover the joy and drama of Grey Sloan Memorial, the show is as strong as ever.” Last season, Grey’s ranked as ABC‘s No. 1 drama among adults 18-49. DEADPOOL 2 BREAKS ADVANCE TICKET SALES RECORD: Deadpool 2 has broken advance ticket sales records for CineWorld‘s Regal Cinemas. Within four hours of going on sale, the sequel doubled the previous 24-hour record and also broke the record for an R-rated movie being sold on Regal’s website, Deadline reports. “We are on the edge of our seats to see what Ryan Reynolds and his team have planned for Deadpool 2. With the 24-hour advance ticket record shattered, moviegoers seem just as excited as we are to see our favorite anti-hero back on the big screen,” said Ken Thewes, Chief Marketing Officer at Regal. “With tickets now on sale, we will continue to add seats to accommodate the demand.” Select locations will run the first Deadpool along with the sequel. 20th Century Fox drops Deadpool 2 May 18th.

BETTE MIDLER TO RETURN TO BROADWAY: Hello, Dolly! Bette Midler is heading back to Broadway, for the final six weeks of the hit Tony-winning production of Hello Dolly! Bernadette Peters, who took over for Midler, will end her run on July 15th. Said Midler, “I am delighted to return to the scene of one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I know the brilliant Bernadette Peters enjoyed her turn as much as I did. Dolly Levi is one of the most joyful characters in Broadway history, and Bernadette and I were lucky to to be able to step into her glorious shoes.” Midler will take to the stage July 17-August 25th. Tickets for Midler’s return go on sale Saturday, April 28th. David Hyde Pierce and Gavin Creel also star.

JIMMY KIMMEL TO WELCOME AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR STARS ALL WEEK: Jimmy Kimmel Live is hosting a week full of shows featuring the stars of Avengers: Infinity War. Robert Downey Jr., Zoe Saldana and Benedict Cumberbatch are among those slated to appear. The ABC show plans to host all of the major stars of Disney‘s forthcoming film, its biggest promo push in history. Avengers: Infinity War stars the entire universe, excluding the X-Men and Spiderman’s Tom Holland. Observers peg its opener at $200M+.
