Competitors attack the course head-to-head in bracket syle elimination rounds.

The final came down to Clearwater’s Brett Trucotte against seven times X-Games gold medalist Levi LaVallee.
Both riders went big on the first jump and battled bumper to bumper for a lead postion.
With LaValle building an almost two second lead over the first two laps, it came down to the final jump on lap three.
Turcotte landed what’s called a Kod Flip —– a backflip performed hanging from the snowmobiles handlebar —– and took the lead on points.
Scoring 88.94 to 88.67 for LaVallee, Brett Turcotte won the gold medal.
