At about 7:00 this morning, RCMP were told that a body had been spotted in a shallow area of the lake, about 400 metres off of Maude Roxby Wetland.

West Kelowna RCMP and the Kelowna Fire Department were able to bring the body to dry land.

While a positive identity has not been made, authorities believe the body belongs to the missing man.

Police have not released the man’s identity.
