Fifth candidate joins Kamloops council race
KAMLOOPS — The unofficial race for two spots expected to open up ahead of a Kamloops council by-election continues to swell.
Jennifer Adams became the fifth candidate to announce her intentions to run this morning.
Adams says she is an entrepreneur who has started several businesses, and has sat on multiple community boards, but this is her first shot at holding elected office.
She says she wants to ensure Kamloops is well-prepared for future growth.
