Store Manager Kevin Ellison says preparedness is critical.

β€œIt is very important for all of us to be prepared for any kind of emergency. Although we live in the interior, sometimes we think a lot of the earthquakes are on the coast, we think that it effects them more than us, but we can be affected as well here, as well as many other emergencies that we should be prepared for,” said Ellison.

Five elementary schools within Kamloops-Thompson School District also participated in the drill.
