Head of Sun Rivers says golf course sale still on track

KAMLOOPS — Rick Siemens, CEO of Sun Rivers Ltd. Partnership, says he wants to set the record straight when it comes to a court case involving one of its companies and the future of its golf course and restaurant.

This after Siemens made a court appearance in Kamloops this week.

Clients in final stages of recovery to move into Maverick Manor soon

KAMLOOPS — Renovations to the old Maverick Motor Inn are nearing completion.

The province bought the motel in April for $6.5 million, and ASK Wellness and BC Housing are partnering to create a place for people in the final stages of recovery.

Project Connect sparks conversation about housing for homeless

KAMLOOPS — Thirty-seven social agencies gathered at Spirit Square today (Oct. 11) to connect Kamloops's homeless population to important services. 

Project Connect is the main event of Homelessness Action Week, which runs from Oct. 8-14.
