Box Office Bang for Jumanji

Despite the bad weather threatening the fun at the box office, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle still had a good showing with $34.3 million in week four, better than industry predictions.
This brings the Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart vehicle to $291 million in profits overall. When the film clicks past $304.3 million, it will be the highest-grossing live action film for Sony outside of the Spider-man franchise.
- Fox is also in celebration mode, with The Post bringing in $22.2 million at 2,819 theaters and The Greatest Showman about to cross the $100 million line.
