The Kamloops CanGo Grannies

The Kamloops CanGo Grannies are holding their second Spring Fling, a luncheon and sale of gently used jewellery and accessories, on Saturday, April 7th at the Kamloops Curling Centre on Victoria Street. Doors open at 11 a.m. for shopping and luncheon is served at 12:30 p.m. It promises to be a fun affair with a silent auction, a live auction, door prizes, draw prizes, and a delicious luncheon prepared by chef Rob Nordin, formerly of Chapters restaurant in addition to the sale of gently used jewellery and accessories.  The luncheon will feature the Chapters’ house salad, sopapillas, herb roasted chicken, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, dessert, coffee and tea.  A cash bar will be available as well. There will also be a short audio-visual presentation by one of our members who is currently in Africa with the Stephen Lewis Foundation visiting some of their projects.
Many Kamloops businesses have supported Spring Fling with generous donations of items or gift certificates that will be offered in the silent auction, the draw and as door prizes.  Tickets are $25 each, available at Blue Sky Clothing, 263 Victoria Street, Hub International, 299 Third Avenue; and The Smorgasbord, 225-7th Avenue.  Tables of 8 or 10 can be reserved by calling Ann at 250-374-0114
