Kamloops sports fields to reopen Tuesday

KAMLOOPS — Good news for sports enthusiasts in Kamloops.

The City of Kamloops has announced it will reopen all sports fields in town this afternoon.

It follows the city’s decision to close the fields Monday due to soggy conditions.

Parks and Civic Facilities Manager Jeff Putnam says city staff inspected and assessed the fields this morning prior to giving the thumbs up and notes the city appreciates the cooperation of residents during the closure.
