Blazers listed in final NHL Central Scouting rankings

KAMLOOPS — Two Blazers are listed by NHL Central Scouting in the final rankings for the 2018 draft.

Brodi Stuart is listed as the 129th best prospect among North American skaters --- forwards and defensemen.

Stuart had 16 goals and 38 points in 70 games in his Blazers rookie season.

After being passed over twice by Central Scouting, Jermaine Loewen comes in as the 160th best prospect in the final ranking.

Loewen, who will be going into his overage season in 2018-19, had a career year last season, leading the Blazers in scoring with 36 goals and 64 points in 66 games.

He was named the Blazers most valuable player in the 2017-18 season.
