KAMLOOPS — It's free agent season in curling.

Teams across the country are making changes in preparation for the next four year Olympic cycle.

A month after skipping Saskatchewan at the Brier, Steve Laycock is moving west.

Laycock, who has represented Saskatchewan seven times at the Brier, is joining B.C.'s Jim Cotter rink for the 2018-19 season.

Laycock will replace John Morris.

Cotter will skip and will call the game and throw last rocks, with Laycock at third.

Tyrell Griffith and Rick Sawatsky will form the front end.

Cotter has represented B.C. sevedn times at the Brier, including four in a row from 2014 to 2017.

Big night $$$ for Kelly Olynyk
