Blazers defeat Cougars in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — The Kamloops Blazers kicked off a busy Family Day long weekend with a 3-2 win over the Cougars in Prince George Friday night. 

A late third period goal by Jermaine Loewen secured the victory for the Blazers. 

The Blazers face the Cougars again Saturday before returning home to host the Edmonton Oil Kings in a Family Day matinee on Monday.
