2018 begins with Kamloops real estate market on a roll

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops area had a hot real estate market to start the year — and the Resort Municipality of Sun Peaks is leading the way.

Statistics released by the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association show 159 home sales last month, a 20 per cent increase over January of 2017.

The value of those home sales jumped 43 per cent to $60.1 million.

Region-wide, Sun Peaks saw the most sales at 22, with Brocklehurst at 18.
