Body found in trunk of burned-out car near Trail

TRAIL — A body has been found in the trunk of a burned-out car near Trail in southeastern B-C.
The discovery was made Sunday night as firefighters doused what they believed was an abandoned four-door, 1999 Honda Civic on Highway 22.
R-C-M-P say the death is being treated as suspicious and the case is now being handled by the Southeast District major crime unit.
Investigators want to speak to anyone who may have travelled on Highway 22 about 11 kilometres north of Trail last weekend and may have seen the Civic or any other unusual activity.
