KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Blazers rookie camp concluded last night at McArthur Island.

The main camp is underway today with practices this morning, and scrimmages from 4-7 PM this afternoon, again at McArthur Island.

Media Director Tim O'Donovan says there are 62 players coming into camp today.

They include all eleven picks in this year's Bantam draft, led by first round pick Josh Pillar from Warman, Saskatchewan.

Josh Doan, son of Blazers' co-owner Shane, and Riley Ginnell, grandson of legendary Western Hockey League coach Paddy Ginnell are also here.

Newcomer Justin Sigrist from Switzerland, picked up in the import draft, is also in camp. Returnee Ondrej Vala from the Czech Republic is also back.

The annual Blue-White game is set for Tuesday night. Tickets for that game are available for $6 at the Blazers box office.

Blazers short training camp wraps up today, then it's cut down
