RCMP investigate drive-by shooting in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP in Salmon Arm are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting.

At about 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to an affluent suburban neighbourhood in south Salmon Arm, where numerous residents reported hearing gunshots.

Investigators found a gun had been fired toward a parked vehicle, a garage and a fence, all at a home in the 1700-block of 11th Avenue Southeast.

A vehicle was heard speeding away after the shots were fired.

No one was injured, but police believe the incident was targeted.

There are no suspects, and RCMP are asking for help from the public.
