Kamloops bocce team to play for the first time in SOBC summer games

KAMLOOPS — More than 1,600 athletes and volunteer coaches will be arriving in Kamloops this week for the Special Olympics B.C. Summer Games.

There will also be up to a thousand volunteers to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

Throughout the week each event on CFJC Sports we will air features on local athletes, teams and coaches on their preparations.

For the first time Kamloops will have a bocce team in the Special Olympics Summer Games.
