Two missing fishermen found dead in Red Lake

RED LAKE, B.C. — The search for two missing fishermen has concluded with the recovery of both bodies from Red Lake. 

The two men, ages 61 and 66, were out ice fishing on the lake Tuesday, but failed to return home at the end of the day.

Kamloops Search and Rescue spent the night searching for the fishermen. By yesterday morning the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team was called in - completing the search and recovery yesterday afternoon.

Families of both men have been notified of the deaths. 

The Kamloops RCMP and BC Coroners Service are continuing to investigate .
