Centennials season ends in loss to Vees

KAMLOOPS — The Merritt Centennials season is over following a 6-2 game seven loss to the Penticton Vees.

After Zachary Zorn opened the scoring for Merritt at minute and 15 seconds into the first period, the Vees took over, scoring the next six goals before Rylan Van Unen closed the scoring for the Centennials.

The Centennials had forced the series to seven games after rallying to win games five and six in overtime.

Penticton will face the Vernon Vipers in the BCHL Interior final.
