Chase Heat extend lead in Birks Division with win over Revelstoke Saturday

CHASE —  The Chase Heat extended their lead in the Birks Division of the Kootenay International League with a 5-1 win over the Revelstoke Grizzlies in Revelstoke Saturday night. 

After a scoreless first period, the Heat blew the game open with three unanswered goals in the second frame and, after Revelstoke had scored early in the third, added two more goals for the victory.

Chase scoring was spread among five different players. 

The Heat have a five point lead over 100 Mile House pending results of the Wranglers game in Kamloops at 5:00 PM this afternoon against the third-place Kamloops Storm.

Game time at Memorial is 5:00 PM.

Chase and Kamloops will meet in Chase for the Heat's next game January 13th.
